Depending on whom you ask, Earth Day is something to be celebrated yearly, for a month, a week, a day or an hour. April 22 officially marks Earth Day annually across the globe and this year theres lots going on across the city on various dates.

Nifty for fifty

The fifth annual Nifty for Fifty sale happens April 22 at Heritage Hall. More than 25 local designers and artists will sell accessories, clothing and trinkets, all for $50 or less.

Soapbox error

The Reader Soapbox column "Chinese buyer concerns based on facts," April 13, incorrectly identified former city planner Larry Beasley as the vice president of Aquilini Developments.
