Exploring concrete

Ocean Construction on Granville Island holds its 14th annual open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 28. Look for the 175-foot concrete boom extended high above Granville Street Bridge. There will be interactive displays, prizes, balloons and tours.

Sun Run Sunday

The annual Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Sun Run starts at 9 a.m., April 15. Expect delays and road closures within the downtown core and Kitsilano during the morning hours. The Burrard and Cambie bridges will be closed to northbound traffic from 8: 30 a.m. to noon/1 p.
