The 2013 Hope in Shadows calendar was released for sale this week. Hope in Shadows is a Pivot Legal Society project that sees disposable cameras handed out to residents of the Downtown Eastside.

Tidy time

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Landfill's annual fall cleanup is Oct. 6 to 14. It will accept up to 500 kilograms of residential waste, including household garbage, yard trimmings and clean or treated wood, free. Many items are recyclable and can be donated.
