Richmond is one of the Chinese food capitals of the world but for those wanting a more downtowny type eatery vibe within city of Richmond limits, there's a new joint in the heart of the Steveston village, right on Moncton street called GUDRUN .

Located on Davie street and open from 11AM until 3AM, this window is essentially the backdoor for the larger, sit down, Chinese restaurant that is in the same building that faces out onto Granville street.

We got down to BC Place for the Eat! 麻豆传媒映画Food + Cooking Festival on Saturday. It was packed with lots of folks looking for samples of food and wine/beer and many other things. For $10 we got a sheet of tasting tickets and went at it.
