鶹ýӳcoffee shop Estratto is in the midst of relocating to a new café space.
Estratto vacated its original Mount Pleasant . At the time, owner and head barista Simone Bettini shared that Estratto's sublease at 260 E 5th Ave was ending, and the new leaseholder was not open to a renewal.
Though Bettini had hoped to keep the coffee shop in Mount Pleasant, Estratto has found a new home in another part of town, though not too far from the original.
Renovations are ongoing at 336 W Pender St in a ground-floor retail space in the Victorian Hotel building. Neighbours include Italian restaurant Locanda dell'Orso and The Paper Hound bookstore.
Bettini has been teasing looks at the new Estratto café, which looks to be outfitted with some playful and vintage decor.
"The space is coming together step by step. Can’t wait to share more with you all," shared Bettini in early March.
While the new Estratto has been int he works, Bettini has continued to make deliveries of beans from the brand's roastery to customers.
No opening date has been set yet, but coffee lovers can follow on Instagram for updates.
