They're moving into a freshly vacated space.

When the owners of Langley's Pink Avo Café revealed they would be closing down their plant-based restaurant this month they also hinted that the next tenant lined up for the space might be a familiar one. Now the that the business moving in at 20534 Fraser Hwy is none other than Vancouver's .

The Pie Hole, which is owned and operated by Jenell Parsons, began in 2011 as a shop-less venture, before Parsons opened her first location in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»in 2017 on Fraser Street.  Though the original location has since closed due to redevelopment, The Pie Hole currently has cafe locations in Kitsilano (1864 W 4th Ave) and in Burnaby (7832 6th St), which will make the Langley shop its third.

Parsons has also enjoyed career milestones like having The Pie Hole featured on an episode of Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and releasing her cookbook, You Wanna Piece of Me?, in 2020.

The Pie Hole is known for its sweet and savoury pies in all kinds of flavours, made using Parsons' buttery crust recipe. Alongside enduring favourites like Bacon Cheeseburger Pie and the "Fat Elvis" Pie, The Pie Hole has several seasonal and rotating flavours, from Pink Lemonade to Peach Bellini. The pie shop is also turning out mini pies, hand pies, and gluten-free as well as vegan options.

"Get ready for the most beautiful and delicious pies you’ve ever seen — they have plant-based options too!" cheers Pink Avo, who vacated the Langley space after closing down on July 23. Looks like those plant-based options will include vegan shakes, too.

Details about The Pie Hole's plans for its first Langley outpost have not been shared online yet. V.I.A. will update as info becomes available.
