Taiwanese bubble tea chain Jenjudan opening three Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»locations

Taiwanese chain Jenjudan is one of the bubble tea brands that is coming in strong, launching their first-ever North American shops in the form of a trio of Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»locations.

Bubble tea is a pretty big deal in Metro Vancouver, and it seems that when another chain crosses the Pacific to open up North American operations, they set their sights on Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and set up shop big time.

Jenjudan is setting up in two Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»spots, both on Robson Street. They're going into 290 Robson, in the space that was previously Waffle Bant and then briefly a salad shop called Farmer's Table, as well as 1210 Robson, in the now-shuttered L'Eclair de Genie.

For their third Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»location, Jenjudan will join the ranks in Richmond at 5599 Cooney Road in unit 125, at The Grand condo development.

Jenjudan, which launched in 1999 at the Taipei Shilin Tourism Night Market, specializes in Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea. It's a little rough getting to know them via Google translate of their company's website, which touts that their signature "black sugar pearl milk" is all about "handing the most nostalgic taste enjoyment, giving the happiest taste."
