Whether it's a sizzling beef patty smothered in cheese, spicy fried chicken, or plant-based, burgers allow for a lot of creativity - and good eating. Burger fans, take note:  is poised to offer 14 glorious days of burger-eating opportunities to Metro Vancouver. 

Taking place from Sept.1 to 14, 2023, Le Burger Week will have over 1,000 restaurants across Canada showcasing their most tastebud-tempting burger creations.

Locally, you'll find 17 burgers at restaurants in Vancouver, Richmond, and Surrey featured during this popular annual choose-your-own-adventure event.

There's pretty much a burger for everyone included this year. You can head to all of the MeeT restaurants to try different all-veggie options at each location, test your spice tolerance with a spicy fried chicken from ChirpyHut, or try a burger with grilled cheese sandwich buns. Hunt down food trucks for burgers, or work a burger into your next visit to the 麻豆传媒映画Aquarium. Feeling ambitious? Richmond's posh Bruno is doing a Tomahawk pork chop burger (for $32). 

Le Burger Week’s overall mission has always been to support local restaurants by increasing their sales and awareness through festival participation. That makes your task clear: Go eat a burger (or two...or more).

Vancouver

• Kyu Grill food truck: Juuccii Luusii (chunk of aged Cheddar wrapped in their signature Chuck Mix kyu Spiced All beef Patty, wrapped in thick cut bacon, then griddled)
• MeeT in Yaletown: Blue Burger (smashed Beyond patty topped with thinly sliced cabbage, red wine caramelized onion, peppered bacon, blue cheese sauce, a pile of hot crispy onion rings, and blueberry basil mayo all on a soft garlic buttered bun. Served with blueberry basil mayo fries)
• MeeT in Gastown: Smokin' Brisket Burger (BBQ brisket burger packed with roasted soy curl brisket, flakey fried onion, beer cheez, fresh jalapeno, garlic mayo, and BBQ sauce, served with a healthy portion of fries and more beer cheez for dipping)

• O'Hare's GastroPub: O'Hare's Cheezy Cheeseburger (Homemade 100% beef patty, topped with a housemade jalapeno queso, Swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, fresh pineapple relish, lettuce and tomato on an organic brioche bun)

Surrey

• Meltwich Food Co: Monster melt (certified Angus Cheese burger with creamy Mac n cheese, hickory smoked bacon and your choice of toppings and sauces, all served between 2 grilled cheese burger buns)
