I know this is a little late, well, very late... but the West 麻豆传媒映画Community Day Parade is tomorrow from 9 - 12 am! They're shutting down Marine Drive all the way from the newly built Rec Centre (definately worth a look) to Ambleside Beach.

Tomorrow between 9am-2pm they close down Hastings between Boundary and Gamma for their annual block party. There's a parade, tons of free samples, and last year I think I saw some droids. Just when I start missing the Salmon Festival....
