I dropped into Blim the other day and found this amazing hand cut wooden doily which is a part of a micro art show containing 3 pieces that Caroline Balhorn constructed.

This Sunday is the Main Street Car Free Day, and it's bigger than ever, stretching from King Ed all the way down to 12th. It's going to be fun in the sun! Also, Blim is having their community market the same day, right on 17th beside their store.

There are a bunch of different dog-friendly beaches throughout the lower mainland and over the summer I'll be bringing my dog Frankie to a bunch of them and shooting snaps of the spots and some of the dogs rompin' around on em.

So I stalked David Sedaris today. First I showed up at 11AM for his 1PM book signing at Chapters on Granville and Broadway, where I was 4th in a line of what ended up being like 300 people.
