One of the most influential bands of the 1980s is coming to town this week.
Depeche Mode is still going, more than 40 years since forming near England, and they're bringing on Nov. 24, supporting their new album Memento Mori. The album was recorded after the sudden death of founding member Andy Fletcher last year.
The critically acclaimed group behind songs like "Personal Jesus," "Enjoy the Silence," and, more recently "Wrong" will be at Rogers Arena along with opening act .
It will be their last Canadian date on the tour before they head south for a series of shows through the western U.S.
Doors for the show will open at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets
Some tickets are still available for the show, which will include Rogers Arena's upper bowl. The vast majority of tickets available on Ticketmaster are verified resellers, with a variety of prices; the cheapest are in the mid $120 range, but there's lots of variation.
On the other end of the spectrum, lots of front row tickets are available at a premium thanks to verified resellers posting tickets for around $1,400.
The only tickets that are available at their original cost are near the stage and going for nearly $300.
A reminder, screenshots of tickets aren't accepted; the moving barcode is needed.
Transportation
Barring unscheduled issues, transit to downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»should be running normally Nov. 24. No additional TransLink service is expected.
Hullo has not announced any extra ferry sailings to/from Nanaimo for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Island fans.

The band hasn't posted anything about Vancouver-specific merch on social media (they're rather quiet on things like Instagram).
