A popular farm in the Lower Mainland has a couple of fun Easter events planned this spring.
in Abbotsford is a popular destination for seasonal events, such as its fall-time pumpkin patch activities and horrifying Halloween haunts.
This year, the farm is offering three Easter-themed events: two family-friendly offerings and a boozy adult egg hunt.
Children can play with seven adorable baby farm animals and embark on an Easter egg hunt at the Baby Animal Easter (BAE) days. The event will be held from April 7 to April 10 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Each ticket includes meeting the Easter Bunny, holding and interacting with seven different baby animals (bunnies, ducklings, chicks, calves, goats, lambs, and pigs), admission to all seven attractions at Barnyard Adventureland, an activity booklet for the scavenger hunt with eggs hidden at each animal station (collect each one to receive an Easter treat!), and the chance to find the golden egg to win a grand prize.
A VIP pass will add animal feed, mini donuts, a glass of berry wine or non-alcoholic strawberry lemonade, a chocolate treat, and a "comeback pass" to your visit.
More homemade sweet treats can be found on the farm, including lemon mini donuts and Maan Farms' signature "egg-cellent" ice cream– a handmade milk chocolate egg filled with soft serve ice cream and topped with caramel, mini eggs, and a wafer straw. Savoury bites such as butter chicken and naan tacos will also be available.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Each morning of the BAE days, between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., guests can sit down with the Easter Bunny for a tasty homemade breakfast of pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, sausages, and a drink.
Boozy adult Easter egg hunt
The popular farm is also bringing back its 90's themed Bunnies & Booze egg hunt that is adults-only (ages 19 and up). The evening event will include appetizers, dinner, a 'meet and greet' with the Easter Bunny, fun games like an egg and spoon race, and an egg hunt with the chance to find the coveted golden egg.
Each ticket also includes an alcoholic beverage of beer or Maan Farm’s Estate Winery’s award-winning berry wine.
The Bunnies & Booze egg hunt will be held on April 1 at 5 p.m.
