A huge Pokémon championship is coming to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­this month

Pokémon fans can put their expertise and battling skills to the test in an official Pokémon tournament coming to Vancouver.

The city is set to host this year's at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Convention Centre on Mar. 11 and Mar. 12. 

Pokémon video game, card game, and Pokémon Go players from Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­to St. John's, Nfld., will gather to compete for up to $65,000 in scholarships, prizes, gift cards, and the grand title of Pokémon Regional Champion. 

The family-friendly competition is open to players of all ages and skill levels, and will be a weekend of intense head-to-head battles.
