The Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast starting on Nov. 21, 2023, includes everything from a rainstorm to frigid temperatures and even flurries.

The Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast includes more than just cold temperatures this week.

While locals will face some wet weather for the next couple of days, temperatures are expected to plunge following the rain event

Environment Canada Meteorologist Derek Lee told V.I.A. in a previous interview that rain should start falling across the Lower Mainland on Tuesday, Nov. 21 afternoon and continue overnight, producing rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm.

V.I.A.'s Southlands Weatherhood station shows that rain is expected to start falling around 4 p.m., producing modest amounts of around 2 mm. The rain is expected to intensify by 9 p.m. or so, with amounts totalling 6 mm.

Rainfall is expected to continue through the night and ease early Wednesday morning.

While an Arctic front isn't expected to make its way into the region, cold air from the Yukon will bring temperatures down, particularly overnight, Lee noted.

Several clear nights with temperatures plunging at or below the freezing mark are expected this week. However, some precipitation may be on the cards heading out of the weekend.

Environment Canada expects that Sunday will be "cloudy with a 60 percent chance of flurries or rain showers."

Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast includes frigid overnight temps

The Southlands Weatherhood station includes multiple frigid overnight lows this week. After Tuesday's rain event, Wednesday may also see some precipitation, although the cloud coverage will keep the overnight low slightly less cold, with temperatures falling to 3 C rather than down to freezing.

Thursday's forecast includes a mix of sun and cloud but temperatures are expected to plummet down to zero overnight. Friday is expected to be even colder, with temperatures dropping to a frigid -1 C.

The bone-chilling lows are expected to continue through the start of next week, too.
