Firefighters from the North Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»City Fire Department have provided a fun and kid-friendly way to kill 10 minutes during the COVID-19 quarantine era.

On Sunday the department released a video of a virtual tour of their station, with members teaming up to walk online guests through the premises. The department's four trucks take starring roles in the video as the members, who you can tell have conducted similar in-person tours many times before the pandemic struck, fire up the flashing lights and display some of the equipment they use to fight fires and save lives. The firefighters, of course, practice appropriate physical distancing throughout the video.

The firefighters also do an interesting demo showing some of the extra personal protection equipment that they now wear if they are at a call with someone who may be infected with the coronavirus. The exciting conclusion of the video involves a squad of firefighters hitting that piece of equipment popular in playgrounds and fire stations alike: the fire pole.

Check out the video below, and head over to the department's if you have questions you'd like them to answer. They're taking requests for the next video.
