Monday zen: #CanadianSingleMalt whisky 'round a campfire

As a 4th generation Canadian rye whisky drinker, I'm proud to announce that I'm now on Canadian Club 's "Whisky Team" (yes, that's an actual thing).

As a 4th generation Canadian rye whisky drinker, I'm proud to announce that I'm now on 's "Whisky Team" (yes, that's an actual thing). To kick things off this 158-year-old institution asked me to share how their Canadian Single Malt plays a role in my life. The answer goes back generations as a longstanding Kronbauer tradition is that we drink rye around campfires in the wilderness of BC. My great uncle Chuck takes 'two fingers, neat' (meaning you'd measure two fingers worth if you were pouring for him), my father Pete drinks it with cola and ice. I've landed somewhere between them with two fingers on ice, and while I wasn't able to connect with them this weekend I thought of them a lot, drinking in their honour while fall camping on the edge of one of my favourite lake - Jones Lake outside of Chilliwack BC.

Enjoy these 27 seconds of zen!
