Travellers looking to fly from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Tokyo still have jaw-dropping deals available in the new year but the lowest-priced options are selling quickly.
Zipair, Japan Airlines's self-described "basic" carrier, recently expanded its service to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»International Airport (YVR) from this winter to spring 2025.
The carrier launched from YVR on March 13, providing the cheapest non-stop flight between the region and Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT). However, the lowest-cost tickets nearly sold out on many dates in March and April before it started flying.
Following the surge in ticket sales, Zipair moved its service from three to five flights weekly, with additional flights on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Tickets were only available through October 2024 but the airline has added flights for the winter into the new year. The new operating schedule has tickets available until March 29, 2025.
