Commuters should have a relatively easier go of it Thursday in Metro Vancouver, following the chaos of Wednesday's cold and snowy weather affecting transportation in the region.

TransLink has advised that the situation has stabilized for the most part into Thursday morning, but it is not quite business as usual.

"Given many side streets remain icy, HandyDART will remain at essential service levels only," adds TransLink.
