'Charming 1910 house. This home has been in the same family for almost 90 years. Featuring an open stair case, 9 foot ceilings on the main floor, original unpainted fireplace hearth with a gas insert, and 3 good sized bedroom and large landing up.

I love scale models. Love scale models. Not enough that I actually own any scale models of my own but there's something appealing about tiny versions of massive things. Like the new BC Place, for example.

Did you know that at Bookmark, the store at the VPL main branch, they have a pretty deep selection of used books that they sell? I didn't. What I did know is that the VPL is on Twitter, and they're one of my favourite organizations that I follow.

I recently had the pleasure of being invited up to the apartment of Alex and his fianc茅e Katie (Katie was in Wisconsin) for a Sunday morning chat post- Lost Lagoon stroll .

There seems to be a few places in the lower mainland where you can live in a house on the water. Kind of what Relic (from the Beachcombers) lived in, but a bit more modern and less dilapitated.
