Realtor Jeff Benna's listing indicates that the sale presents an opportunity to "renovate" the Victorian charmer, but it's hard to tell just what needs work.
That's because the description indicates there's "elegant millwork throughout" and the kitchen and laundry were "updated a few years ago," but the only photos provided are of the exterior and landscaping. (The listing data shows it was partly renovated in 2009.)
By the way, the estimated monthly mortgage for a place of this price is around $62,000 a month.

The home was once one of three owned by Walter Nelson of Nelson Bottling Works and his wife Irene Maccaud Nelson. Maccaud Nelson later moved to her farm in White Rock, and she and Walter endured an acrimonious divorce and legal battle around the time you'll find photos of the house .
