Over $17 million dropped from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­mansion's original asking price

It's now asking less than half of what it was listed for in 2017.

While Vancouver's housing market is hot, it seems not all houses are selling quickly.

A luxury home in Vancouver's Shaughnessy neighbourhood has just been . While that's a large sum of money, it's less than half of what it was listed for in 2017, when it hit the market for $34.8 million.

At the time, it was one of the most expensive homes listed in Canada.

It was relisted in 2022 for $24.88 million, but after a couple of years, another discount seems to have been in order.

Now its listed price of $17 million is less than its assessed value by the province of $17.32 million.

REW records show the property last sold in 2013 for $4.5 million; the house that currently stands there was built sometime around 2014 (according to ) or 2017 ().

The house sits on more than a half-acre of land at 1126 Wolfe Ave in Shaughnessy. Inspired by European estates, the home has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and seven fireplaces.

There's also a wine cellar, an outdoor kitchenette area, and an outdoor pool.
