A massive house has hit the market along Kitsilano's "Millionaire's Row," and it's the first time in decades the property is for sale.
. is a half-acre lot with a 10-bedroom house on it, which is split into two addresses (it includes 2781 Point Grey Rd.). The house has been owned by the same people since it was built in 1968.
BC Assessment valued it at $26.7 million earlier this year, though that assessment puts the value of the house at just $10,000.
The huge house is located on the waterfront side of Point Grey Road, where almost every house is part of BC Assessment's list of 500 top-valued residential properties in B.C.
In fact, the next-door neighbour is number five on the most recent list, while number nine is a few doors down. Chip Wilson's luxury home, the most expensive in B.C., is just 400 metres away.
The house itself is being advertised as a potential teardown or renovation project.
"The generous lot size and outdoor space afford endless possibilities for creating luxurious indoor-outdoor living areas that capitalize on the property's breathtaking views," reads the listing by real estate agent Tom Gradecak.
The property appears to be one of the on the market in Canada right now.
