For about $100,000 per hole, someone can buy a former B.C. golf course.
The nine-hole Ness Wood Golf Course outside of Prince George has been shut down for a little while, but the irrigation system is still there, and the land is still clear, so restoring the course is very much feasible.
And the property comes with a residence; there's a three-bedroom double-wide mobile home on the property, along with a large detached workshop.
"This expansive 165-acre area, close to Ness Lake, has the potential to become a fantastic recreational destination in Prince George,"
It's recently hit B.C.'s real estate at a discounted price. In 2024, the golf course property was asking $924,900. It was recently relisted for $899,900.
The former golf course could be restored, but the land could be turned into another type of venture as well. It's zoned for recreational commercial uses, so that could include a campground, some sort of game farm, or a guiding operation.
