A 麻豆传媒映画retiree is making new plans after a big win in the Lotto Max.
Diana Braathen was relaxing at home when she decided to check her ticket. What she saw seemed unbelievable.
“I checked the numbers [of my ticket] online,” Braathen says in a press release. “The first thing that crossed my mind was, ‘is this right?’”
She'd won one of the Maximillions prizes, an even $1 million prize.
Before telling her husband about the big win she double-checked the numbers via the BCLC app.
"This will make our retirement plans easier,” she says of the win.
Those plans now include an African safari adventure, along with a new car.
Braathen's win came from the July 25 draw; she bought the ticket at the Oak Street and King Edward Avenue Shell.
