鶹ýӳwoke up Sunday to a (predicted) winter wonderland, with snow-covered streets, fallen trees and pockets of power outages.
The sunny Sunday morning was majestic for many in the city who got to take in the shimmering scene without having to worry about a commute or work. But for hundreds across the city and metro area, the snow was a bit more problematic since many side streets hadn't been plowed yet.
As of 11:30 a.m., B.C. Hydro was still showing at inside the city, while Metro 鶹ýӳcontended with more than two dozen. The largest in the city affected 519 customers, according to BC Hydro.
As the snow fell overnight, some locals decided to venture out while it was dark out to catch the falling snow as it blanketed the city.

The snow story in BC’s Lower Mainland will be different from community to community or even neighborhood to neighborhood. In my part of Vancouver, it’s actually quite beautiful this morning. Hope everyone is staying safe.

Beautiful morning to fly into Vancouver, BC. Even got a rare but brief Brockton Spectre Glory out of it!

Not everyone is enjoying the day, though.
