The suspensions have been lifted for the bus routes earlier suspended due to road conditions.
However, detours and delays are still expected throughout the system.
"TransLink’s snow plan for severe weather is active, as we’re dealing with adverse road conditions across Metro Vancouver," writes a TransLink spokesperson. "Extra staff are deployed throughout the system to keep transit moving as best we are able and the weather conditions are changing rapidly."

For anyone using transit in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»today, your bus may be delayed, detoured or not show up at all.
TransLink has suspended 10 routes across the city at 8:50 a.m. today, Feb. 28, due to road conditions as the region gets covered in another late-season blanket of snow. Many of the routes affected connect with the downtown core or UBC.
TransLink says bus service "will resume when roads improve" on the suspended routes.
The routes suspended as of 9:30 a.m. are:
- 2 Macdonald/Downtown
- 3 Main/Downtown
- 8 Fraser/Downtown
- 16 Arbutus/29th Avenue Station
- 20 Victoria/Downtown
- 25 Brentwood Station/UBC
- 33 UBC/29th Avenue Station
- 41 Joyce Station/Crown
- 49 Metrotown Station/Dunbar Loop/UBC
- R4 41st Avenue
At the same time other routes have detours to help get around poor road conditions; some routes are stopping before their normal terminal destination to avoid issues, as well. For a full list, check .
HandyDART services have been impacted as well, according to TransLink's website with reduced service levels during the snow.
Environment Canada says the snow is expected to continue throughout the day.
