A 23-year-old man died early Saturday morning after stepping in to break up a fight outside a Granville Street club.
Just before 2:30 a.m. a fight broke out inside the Cabanna Club in the 1100-block of Granville Street. The fight spilled out onto the street and Kalwinder Thind, who was working at the club, stepped into break up the fight. Thind was injured and died later in hospital.
Several people have been arrested, police said, and homicide investigators are currently trying to piece together what happened.
