Guy currently works as an inspirational speaker and a Peer Clinical Advisor at the . He comes to it from a place of experience, as he fell into addiction at an early age and spent 30 years in and out of treatment, and jail. 20 of those years were spent in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
A fierce advocate for harm reduction and a safer supply, today is the 8th anniversary of his last overdose.
We look forward to Guy enlightening our readers with his insights, knowledge, and ideas on how society can work to end the overdose epidemic while continuing to reduce the harms that affect those caught in its grip.
