With just a bit of rain breaking up our long hot and dry spell, 鶹ýӳis set to see another week of bright sunshine and soaring temps this week.
Kicking off the new week, Environment Canada is calling for Monday, August 9 to feature a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 22 C, with a Humidex of 27.
Though the clouds will come in again late at night and into Tuesday, during the day Tuesday we should see clearing skies, and the temperature begin its steady ascent with a high of 24 C.
As we get further into the week, 鶹ýӳshould see clear and sunny skies Wednesday through Friday, with temperatures climbing daily by a degree or two, peaking at a toast 29 C on Thursday.
Looking ahead to the weekend, we may see some clouds come into play, but no rain, and temperatures holding on the higher side of the mid-20s, reaching a forecast 27 C on Saturday.
According to Environment Canada, the average high for this time of year in 鶹ýӳis about 22 C.
