While Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»has enjoyed a relatively warm week, the forecast is now calling for a chilly, and possibly snowy, weekend.
Environment Canada was hestitant to include snow in its weekly forecast yesterday, but the department has added a chance of snowfall for Feb. 2 as well as Feb. 3.
Starting on Thursday, Jan. 30, the forecast calls for rain during the day with heavy rain overnight. Total amounts of 15 to 25 mm are expected. Friday is also expected to see heavy rainfall during the day, with total amounts of 15 to 25 mm expected.
Saturday's forecast calls for showers during the day, however, the evening is expected to be dry and cloudy. Sunday's forecast calls for periods of rain or snow during the day with a high of four degrees; the evening forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries with a low of minus one. Monday is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud during the day while the evening forecast calls for a 70 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries.
Tuesday and Wednesday's forecasts call for rain with daily highs of six and seven degrees, respectively.
