Two men are facing multiple charges following a home invasion at a Downtown Eastside rooming house earlier this month.
Steven Flett, 37, and Dustin Gastl, 40, have been charged with breaking and entering, robbery, unlawful confinement, assault causing bodily harm, and possession of a weapon after they allegedly forced their way into the suite of a 60-year-old man at East Hastings and Gore on July 5.
According to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»police, the pair allegedly "violently beat him" and stole various possessions.
The victim was taken to hospital for his injuries.
Flett and Gastl remain in custody until their next court appearance.
