The COVID-19 crisis has forced some Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»restaurants to close their doors altogether, but others have risen to the occasion, keeping you fed and keeping people working.
B.C. Public Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry continues to urge us to support restaurants if and when we can by ordering take-out and delivery. Restaurants and carrier services have implemented contactless delivery measures as well, to further promote social distancing, even when heading to your doorstep with food and drinks.
When it comes to drinks, this has been the first week since a new law was enacted on Sunday allowing restaurants to offer canned or bottled alcohol to be sold with food purchases. Further, some small brewers and beverage-makers have banded together to launch Beer Van, a same-day delivery service in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»proper.
This week, V.I.A. launched a special new listings section: Take Home Vancouver. This index is FREE for local businesses to use to add their listing. Plus, front line workers are eligible for a 25% discount.
