The Tribeca building on Arbutus in Kitsilano. The former Gramercy Grill location is seen papered over. We now know the new restaurant opening here is a French brasserie called Coquette.

A prominent Kitsilano corner is set to be home to a new French brasserie, and the project is the venture of a growing Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»restaurant group with three much-loved businesses already under its belt.

The behind The Stable House - the South Granville destination for all things wine and charcuterie - as well as neighbourhood Italian spot Fiore Famiglia, and Fiore Mercato, its marketplace sibling have taken over 2685 Arbutus Street.

The restaurant space, which was vacated at the end of 2021 by longtime tenant Gramercy Grill, will become a French brasserie called Coquette.

Details are scant at the moment, though we hear Stable House's , the award-winning sommelier, will be in charge of the wine list.

We'll update with more info on Coquette as it becomes available.

The Arbutus corridor's profile is on the rise when it comes to food destinations, too; further down the street in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood will soon boast the second Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»location of popular donut bakery Mello
