Shakti's Nectar Smoothie by  - Cacao, coconut, vanilla bean, mint, spirulina and almond milk - the 'clean eater's' dream smoothie. Though texture-wise, I'd call it more of a juice with foam on top.

Raw Vegan Sushi ²ú²âÌý - filled with vegetables and nut paste, this plant-based sushi can easily substitute for the real thing.

Smoked Salmon by - with mixed grains, cucumber, herbs and seriously killer devilled eggs. Try this. Their creamy, free-range, three egg omelette is another solid brunch option.

Raw Vegan Avocado Lime Pie by  - need I say more? The crust, made with walnut, dates, figs, coconut oil and agave, is as delicious as the luscious filling (try it frozen).

Two Daughters Bakeshop - a serious hidden 'gluten-free' gem in North Van. Enter through the alley between Esplanade and 2nd just off Lonsdale and try everything. You will love it.
