TO DIE FOR FOOD OF THE WEEK - VOLUME 37

Every week I compile a collection of the most mouthwatering food photos that I shot in & around Vancouver. The hashtag #todiefor denotes an item truly knee weakening in flavour.

Two Rivers Turkey Sausage Hash ²ú²âÌý - the meat found on new The Listel Hotel restaurant's menu is just the tip of the ethical iceberg. They've got Ocean Wise Seafood, local, organic coffee (Pedro's) and gluten free bread. Is this one of Vancouver's best new brunch spots? It hit the marks for me. PS - I preferred my foraged mushroom and goat cheese omelette to the hash (this picture was better!)

Heart-shaped Eggs & Toast - I'll avoid mentioning a certain, fast-approaching 'V-day', but wouldn't this be a heartwarming way to wake up?

Pear Cranberry Streusel Pie ²ú²âÌý - Vancouver's newest pie destination is located in Chinatown. Visit this adorable hole-in-the-wall (their space is a mere 300 square feet) for a slice of their small-batch, house-made pies and a bag of their own beans.

- a solid spot for luscious 49th Parallel lattes on Kingsway. Their pastries are sourced from small, local bakeries around Vancouver.

Tuna & Salmon Sashimi ²ú²âÌý- a late addition to my list. One visit was enough to sell me (especially after hearing so many rave reviews). Each dish sampled was a winner - and the tuna reinstated my faith that there is #TODIEFOR fish out there.
