To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Whistler Brewing invited a small group of BC personalities (including me) to tap into our inner brewmaster and create our own customized casks of ‘anniversary ale’! We selected a base beer as well as our own combination of hops, priming sugar, herbs, spices, fruit, and other ingredients, and we'll be tapping all of them this weekend at a party at the Longhorn Saloon in Whistler.

To makes things even more interesting, a panel of judges are being brought in to decide which of these special beers is the most awesome. The panel is made up of:
Ken Beattie - Executive Director of the BC Craft Brewers Guild
Mike Varrin - General Manager of Whistler Blackcomb Food and Beverage
Rob Wilson - General Manager of Whistler FM
Bruce Dean - President of Whistler Brewing Company
Beer aficionados are invited to join the public portion of the event starting at 8pm. Attendees will enjoy an evening of live music by Hot Lucy and award-winning craft beer.
