The heritage of Main Street Beer!

I took a tour of Vancouver's newest brewery recently. Just opened, is located in a 1913 heritage building at 261 East 7th, in the heart of the old Brewery district. Historically, beer makers in the area would take their water from Brewery Creek (which was rerouted into an underground tunnel decades ago) and create beers for loggers and other industrial workers who worked in and inhabited the area.

They're (obviously) brewing on site and the beer is currently ONLY available here due to limited supply. They've got an eatery and tasting room as well as a growler filling station and I recommend getting there like right now.

Incidentally, the adjustable cupholders in my new are the PERFECT fit for the small growlers I brought home. Get some!
