Taco'bout a great reason to eat a few tacos over the next 10 days: and the DIY event is raising money for two local orgs.
Taco Week runs May 31 through June 9 in several Canadian cities, including Vancouver, where 13 different "signature" tacos at 18 restaurant locations in the city (and in neighbouring Surrey). Two Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»spots as part of the self-guided dine-out event.
Participating restaurants offering up a taco or margarita as part of Taco Week in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»include some popular spots, like Tacofino, Sal y Limon, and The Pawn Shop. Try a classic fried fish taco, tender birria, or even veggie taco options.
Both The Chickadee Room and Glitch Bar are serving up margaritas for Taco Week.
One dollar from every taco and margarita sold during Taco Week will be donated to the Greater Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Food Bank and CityReach Care Society.
