Today I'm telling you about places you can stay...so I'm just going to start with this view to hook you in:

Yup, two amazing things about the first place we stayed on our trip up the Sunshine Coast:
This place was just gorgeous, and Egmont, BC is very easy to get to - even when driving (3 hours with a ferry), although it's also only minutes by seaplane! They have an amazing array of that make me want to return ASAP (kayaking!)...but we got a tour of their lodging before dinner at (their restaurant in the lodge, the food from which you get to see in the next post!) so check it out below.
That headboard is reclaimed wood from downed trees in Stanley Park. I LOVED them.
They have a variety of accommodations, with some amazing rooms and views...
We were treated to a double rainbow all throughout dinner, as well as several eagles flying by. It is a truly spectacular view, and I could picture many a wedding happening on the deck.
Lastly here are a few shots from inside the lodge where we had breakfast the next morning, and a bonus shot of seals sunning themselves not to far from the WCWL (which make me want to go kayaking there even more)!
The next night after some amazing adventures, and great food (you'll see soon!) we nested ourselves away at 聽Tucked into the woods not to far from Lund, BC, this rustic resort has several furnished lodges with kitchens and lots of room - I could totally see families or big groups of friends coming for a weekend (some have hot tubs!). Also there are kayaks and canoes for guests to use to cruise around the inlet and out into Desolation Sound. Here are a few shots of the lodge and my walk down to the dock in the morning!
Our last night of lodging came in the form of the in Powell River!
They have a ton of scuba equipment in the . The weather was BEAUTIFUL and we managed to have lunch on the patio, and then with a few hours of downtime, I spent most of my time walking the beach and talking to a seal.
and looked like most hotels save for the awesome view of the ocean ...which is conveniently located right next to the hotel and restaurant.
Lastly, the next day on our way back to Vancouver, we stopped in at the for lunch and got a tour of their beautiful accommodations .
