One of B.C.'s top bakeries is expanding with a new location in Squamish

The Whistler-born baking empire has multiple locations already in Vancouver, too.

One of the most popular bakery chains on B.C.'s south coast is expanding its empire with the addition of sixth location, and this time the treat destination is headed to Squamish.

, which began in Whistler and has long had a presence at Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­farmers' markets, first hit the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­scene with their brick-and-mortar shop near Gastown, followed by bakeshop cafes in Mount Pleasant and Kitsilano

Now Purebread will be setting up shop in Squamish, broadening its reach in the Sea to Sky region. 

"We are as pleased as punch to announce we are finally opening a location this spring at Garibaldi Village," . 

Known for their wickedly good bread, brownies, cookies, cakes, sandwiches, and all manner of eye-popping treats, Purebread is a favourite for baked goods in Whistler and Vancouver.
