With its broad swath of floor-to-ceiling windows curving across the front of a ground floor space on Davie at Seymour in Downtown Vancouver, a former Starbucks location is set to enter its next chapter as an indie coffee shop.
is getting ready to open its doors soon at 605 Davie St.
The corner cafe location is one of many Starbucks that were closed down by the corporate coffee chain in the last couple of years. Most of the former 'bux spots have morphed into new businesses, including one of the brand's most iconic former Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»locations, the Mount Pleasant Reserve Bar, which became Forecast Coffee in 2021.
On its own Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»corner, Perfecto will be offering hot and cold beverages centred around coffee drinks, as well as milkshakes, hot chocolate, and affogato (espresso over gelato). They'll also be scooping that gelato for those in search of a cool, sweet treat.
Also in the treats department, Perfecto's pastry menu includes an array of croissants, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and macarons.
For grab-and-go light bites and lunchtime eats, the cafe also will offer sandwiches and salads on the menu.
An exact opening date has not been announced, but Perfecto's latest Instagram post says the space is 99 per cent ready to go and they will be happy to welcome guests very soon.
