Escape the February blahs and find sunshine in a glass at the happening from February 20th to February 28th . Not just for oenophiles, the festival celebrates wines from around the world at every price point from under $15 to over $300. Love bubbles? Gastown's chic hosts the ultimate lounge party celebrating Italian prosecco on Tuesday, February 23rd from 8pm-10pm. Enjoy an evening of bubbles along with tasty bites from Vancouver's famed . The event includes a chef live action stage featuring Goat Cheese and Arugala Ravioli with Brown Butter Sage along with cold and hot canapes including Mini Porchetta on house-made Brioche, Foie Gras Terrine and Fresh Burrata with Olive Tomato Tapendade.

The highlight of the festival, the still has tickets available for the afternoon session on Saturday, February 27. While the Friday and Saturday evening sessions definitely draw the party crowd, the Saturday afternoon tastings have a more relaxed atmosphere. There are over 150 wineries participating from 14 countries including a special section dedicated to this year's theme country, Italy where you can find over 60 wineries showcasing the best of Italian wine. What's better than spending a Saturday afternoon sipping wine?
