The Parker Rooftop is set to be a low-key hang out spot high up in the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»skyline.

High above the city, you’ll find Vancouver’s newest upscale hangout spot.

The Executive Table Group-owned (formally Vintage Park Hotel) announced recently that it will be opening the high-end but low-key this June, just in time for summer patio season.

The 4,000-square foot indoor-outdoor space on the ninth floor of the Howe Street hotel will have 20-foot floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking sweeping panoramic views of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»skyline and feature “upbeat music and an opulent atmosphere,” according to Director of Operations at Executive Table Group Claire Wright.

The space is still under construction as of now, but there will be a 60-seat outdoor patio along with two private dining patios and a bar inside.

The Parker will have a caviar, cocktails, and canapes-style menu focusing on shareable bites to compliment craft cocktails and a curated champagne and wine list. However, on weekends, brunch will be served with a bottle service option.

Drinks are developed with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients and the restaurant will be open for weekend brunches, happy hour and dinner, from 3 p.m. till late, seven days a week.

"We are thrilled to be opening Parker Rooftop at the Parker Hotel," says Wright. "We want to create a unique bar experience for our guests and the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»community, and we believe that Parker Rooftop will exceed all expectations. We are confident that our talented team of chefs and service staff will create an unforgettable experience that will leave our guests coming back for more."

Some of Executive Table Group's other Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»restaurant venues include Alouette, Hydra, and Freebird Table & Bar.
