Olympic Village has a new spot to grab a coffee or pastry.
, a restaurant, has taken over the former Press Room Cafe location at 1778 Columbia St.
This is Stega's second location in as many years; they just opened their first location about a year ago at 301 W Cordova St. at the corner with Cambie Street in Gastown.
Stega offers a variety of snacks including gluten-free pastries, savoury waffles, and pizza bagels. There's also a range of hot and cold drinks, including an extensive list of coffee-based drinks, loose-leaf teas and fruit smoothies.
While the new location is not listed on Stega's social media accounts or website, the Olympic Village cafe was open when V.I.A. checked the physical location.
The Press Room at the beginning of the year they were temporarily closing, but haven't posted any updates on social media or applied for a new business license since January.
