Now in its fourth decade, a popular mom-and-pop sushi restaurant with two North Shore locations is almost ready to open up its long-awaited shop in Vancouver.
began in the nineties in North Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and now operates in Lower Lonsdale and Lynn Valley. Most recently, Mr. Sushi drew praise in the as the top winner for the area's favourite Japanese restaurant.
For over a year now, Mr. Sushi has been prepping to launch at 176 E 2nd Ave. in Olympic Village, on the ground floor of the mixed-use new build called .
Back on the North Shore, Mr. Sushi takes pride in being a fixture in the community, with rolls named after longtime customers and even the Fire Chief.
On the menu are familiar sushi restaurant items, including nigiri, rolls, box combos, salads and appetizers, sashimi, donburi (rice bowls) and more. Mr. Sushi also has combos and party trays, as well as playful options like their "Sushi Pizza."
After months of anticipation, Mr. Sushi has just revealed it hopes to have its .
