One of Vancouver's top modern Vietnamese restaurants will soon have a sibling spot

"Our new venture will offer unique flavours and experiences that foster connections and create lasting memories."

The siblings behind one of Vancouver's favourite modern Vietnamese dining destinations are gearing up to debut a sibling spot.

Brother and sister duo Vincent and Amélie Nguyá»…n, whose has been thrilling palates since 2016, are expanding their portfolio to launch

Good Thief will be located next door to Anh and Chi at 3336 Main St, however, the owners are keeping the details about the exciting new venture under wraps.

What we do know, according to a media release, is that Good Thief represents "an adventurous new dining concept" that was "sparked by a deep desire to celebrate daring creativity and to defy convention."

"This project is a culmination of our lifelong passion and a bold complement to Anh and Chi. We believe it celebrates our heritage in a way that's never been seen before," shared Vincent Nguyá»…n.

Good Thief is going to be a way for the Nguyá»…ns to build on the Anh and Chi legacy. The award-winning and Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»restaurant is itself part of a deep legacy; the siblings opened the bold, bright, and contemporary restaurant at the same location where their parents ran Pho Hoang for many years.

“We’re excited to build on what we’ve done at Anh and Chi,” said Amélie. "With Good Thief, we're inviting our community to explore the depth of Vietnamese culture through adventurous and unexpected culinary journeys. Our new venture will offer unique flavours and experiences that foster connections and create lasting memories."

Design and menu details remain a mystery, though given Anh and Chi's vibrancy backed by terrific eats, it seems likely Good Thief will offer guests a dynamic experience (and probably some fabulous cocktails).

Good Thief is reportedly in its finishing stages, but an opening date has not been revealed. Food and drink fans are urged to follow the concept's progress on Instagram at .
