A popular tea shop known for its matcha drinks is opening its new, temporary 麻豆传媒映画home this week.
shared that the café will welcome guests to its pop-up shop located inside CF Pacific Centre as of April 3.
The shop will serve Paragon's stone-milled tea powders - including matcha - and bubble waffles, along with "some special treats."
Based on the use of the ice cream emoji, it looks like Paragon may have something cold and sweet on the menu in time for the sunnier season.
Paragon was forced to leave its shop on Cambie at the end of February due to redevelopment. Several businesses on the block faced the same fate.
This was the second time Paragon has had to move its 麻豆传媒映画location; a few years ago, they were forced to leave a spot at Cambie Street and Second Avenue after the landlord sold the space.
Co-owner Michelle Cheung told V.I.A. in a previous interview that there is a lack of viable long-term options for a business like Paragon. Cheung indicated at the time that following the closure of the Cambie location, the next step would likely be for the tea café to set up some temporary digs while a permanent location was secured.
Additionally, Paragon operates a shop in Richmond. They are no stranger to pop-up shops, as recently they ran a similar temporary outpost at YVR Airport.
According to Paragon, the Pacific Centre shop is located on the lower level. "Head to Sephora, then take the escalators down towards Holt Renfrew and you’ll find us!" they explain.
The pop-up shop will be operational for six months and the hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
