As spring arrives in Vancouver, so do the cherry blossoms in all their pink and white glory.
To celebrate, the is once again bringing together several cafés and restaurants in Metro 鶹ýӳwho will feature special cherry blossom-inspired treats and drinks for a DIY multi-week event.
Organized by Noms Magazine, the 鶹ýӳCherry Blossom Food Festival is in its second year. Though it is not affiliated with the 鶹ýӳCherry Blossom Festival, its spirit of sakura is the same (and anyone can most certainly take part in both).
From March 14 to April 27, 2025, you'll find special items on offer at nearly two dozen businesses spanning Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby.
Many of the participating vendors will have more than one treat on offer, and every item is given a number of passport stamps you can collect during the entire six-week fest.
Look for elegant Sakura Strawberry cake slices, Sakura Melon Pan, and several special croissants at Beaucoup Bakery; try an indulgent Sakura Strawberry Parfait at Nana's Green Tea; visit East Van's Elephant Garden Creamy for the Genmai Matcha Sundae; or enjoy a Roseberry Cardabun Tea Latte (and pet the bunnies) at The Bunny Café.
There are options for those in search of gluten-free, dairy-free, and/or vegan items among the various vendors.
Availability and hours are at each vendor's discretion.
