Canadian comedian is travelling the country and gaining notoriety for a very bizarre reason.
He is visiting cafes, restaurants, and food trucks in each place and ordering the same thing at the same time every day until they recognize him and remember his order.
The goal is to have staff know his "usual" at each location before he moves on to the next place.
It's a specific and odd goal that raises a lot of questions - for instance, why? - but the premise has garnered him over 141K followers on TikTok and 93K on Instagram and back in November he announced he would be taking the series worldwide.
So far Moses has established a "usual" at several places in New York, Toronto, and Lethbridge. Now, he's trying his luck in Vancouver.
As of Jan. 10, Moses is on day three in Vancouver. He is ordering French toast with ice cream at on Davie Street and a at the food cart on Burrard every day.
To consider the mission a success, the staff have to know his order without him saying anything and commenters have taken to predicting how many days it will take.
Moses came close at Red Umbrella Cafe on day two because the person behind the counter did remember the order but had to be prompted; today it was a new server so he'll have to try again tomorrow.
Japadog won't be as easy, according to one commenter who used to work there. They said the staff probably won't remember him since they see so many people to which Moses replied, "going to have to do something memorable."
Whys of the series aside (seriously, what happens when they remember but you move on immediately after?), Moses has said that the whole point is to support local businesses and make new friends. He also learns the names of staff and each time he is remembered he uploads a picture of himself with the server to with a sincere thank you.
Moses also doesn't film any of the people serving him.
