3 years ago I made a to Saputo Inc to bring back the beloved 80's sports drink, Super Socco, which I and many other Canadian kids loved so much. It was once the official drink of the Whitecaps and my hope was that it might be brought back from the grave (of course with healthier ingredients, as I remember it being tasty, tasty sugar water).
Today I'm happy to report that somebody was listening. The details aren't 100% clear yet on whether or not Saputo sold the brand or is simply licensing it out, but a company called BevPro out of Langley got ahold of me to let me know that they're relaunching the drink in 2014.
